Before EKR there was a lot of manual work to do.

We had a database that exported data and then worked with InDesign. The work was really expensive because it had to be repeated by hand for all other languages.

The challenge was to be able to layout a catalogue of thousands of product pages, several of which required the integration of special content, which meant that the standard page structure had to be modified. EKR ORCHESTRA is made precisely for this, even if we had to take it to the limit and ask for additional functionality to achieve the goal. The goal is indeed to completely eliminate manual intervention, and we are very close to this result.

It was a complex project that took a lot of time and energy. Initially, for example, we couldn’t manage the most particular cards: now it is running smoothly and we have really limited the final touches a lot. Not to mention that the same information also has to flow onto the web. With EKR ORCHESTRA we managed to automate a good part of the process, and that was the focus.

We used to write more freehand. Now, however, we try to pursue a certain consistency due to the system that pushes to maintain a certain uniformity in both the phrases that are repeated for different products and the choice of terminology.
